We are married have a bunch of children and we love to travel. We specialize destination wedding photography, which gives us the ability to travel with our family and photograph couples in love.
e love traveling with our five children. Yes, you read this right. Five precious children. We have 4 biological sons and just adopted our daughter. We fostered her and are really big supporters of fostering! If you any questions about adoption or fostering feel free to ask us.
We love trying new foods, exploring new land, learning history, and culture. We have been to 46 states with all of our children. This is how our passion for destination photography was born.

One of the most frequent questions we get is:
"How on earth did you get started in all this?"
We both were working a 9-5 job when we met. For fun we started photographing outdoors together. Which led to us photographing weddings. Erica grew up on Long Island and was asked if we would come up and photograph a friends wedding. We decided to make it a road trip and bring the kids. I remember walking in the door after that wedding and realizing this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to travel with my family and photograph weddings in new locations I have never seen. Sometimes photographing the same location over and over can become less exciting. I love the challenge of a new location, with new beauty to discover.
Travel and photography is our favorite pastimes. So we picked a carrier that involved both. When a couple tells us they want to meet us at the top of an 8k high mountain I get excited like a kid at Christmas. We start planning all the places we can stop in between.
Traveling has become such an important part of our life. It expands our understanding of other cultures, people, places, and food. It allows us time to spend with our family. Traveling creates everlasting, visceral memories. Maybe because we are photographers, the wanderlust lives strongly inside of us to photograph and experience new destinations and others' way of life.
Which brings me to you...
Traveling why do I do it? Because I want to see everything and show my family it too. As a child my grandparents traveled with me every summer. Always a new town or city to adventure around. It is my fondest early memories. I wanted to be able to offer my children the same gift. When you think back about your younger years you cannot recall the best day of playing video games right? But, that mountain you climbed and your mom screamed the whole ride up scared; you sure do recall. Traveling with my family brings me utter joy. Packing my bag and knowing for 3 months we will be on adventure together is the best part of my life.
